Gabourey Sidibe has joined the cast of season 3 of FX's series American Horror Story: Coven. She joins a cast that includes Jessica Lange, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Taissa Farmiga, Frances Conroy and Lily Rabe. No details yet on what character she'll play in the horror TV series however. Her casting was announced on Twitter by showrunner Ryan Murphy. Sidibe can currently be seen in Showtime's The Big C, which is now in its final season.

TechShop Raleigh-Durham is closing, effective Saturday, April 20, 2013. In an email to MAKE, Dan Woods, chief operating officer and VP of business development at TechShop, said "In the final analysis, it is obvious that the location is not convenient enough to the vast majority of the maker community in the Raleigh-Durham market."
