Stas and Cat: No GMO, awe naturale. Sub Pop

Seattle future-R&B/hiphop duo THEESatisfaction perform a free show at Everyday Music in Capitol Hill Tuesday, February 24 at 6 pm. On that day, their vibrant and involving second album, EarthEE (produced by the group's Stas and Cat and Erik Blood), comes out on Sub Pop Records.

Look for Charles Mudede's in-depth feature on THEESatisfaction in The Stranger this Wednesday. THEESat also play their album-release show proper Thursday, February 26 at Neumos.

The Saturday Night Live special to commemorate the show's 40th anniversary is set to air this Sunday, and there's been much hype about the incredible list of guests from the worlds of music, acting and comedy who will be appearing on the show. 

In this atmosphere of reflection by those who participated in SNL's history, former producer Michael Shoemaker, who departed the show after 20 years in order to produce Late Night, recently began posting a number of candids taken during his tenure.
