The Huawei ban will cut its sales by up to 60 million smartphones a year

by Chris Smith
USA vs. Huawei

Huawei is at the center of the United States' trade war with China right now, although US officials have cited security concerns when going forward with restrictions (although that might be a huge lie). As things stand right now, US companies can't purchase Huawei telecom equipment, and Huawei isn't allowed to use any technology made by US firms. We saw a preview of the latter last year when ZTE nearly had to shut down operations because of a similar measure. Now You Can Really Cut the Cord: Pirate TV Service Now Has 500 Free TV Channels

by Zach Epstein
Free Streaming TV

The biggest barrier for cord cutters today remains the same as it was a month ago and a year ago: live TV. But with only a few exceptions such as HBO Now and WatchESPN that are only available to a limited number of people who subscribe to certain services, cord cutters cannot watch most live broadcasts.

Now, however, there's a pirate TV service that aims to change that — and as of Monday, it's home to well over 500 channels of free streaming content.

Kendrick Lamar Spotify Record

In case anyone is still wondering why Apple doled out $3 billion for Beats Music, all one has to do is look to the immense success and growing popularity of Spotify. Just this week, Kendrick Lamar's new album, To Pimp a Butterfly, set a new Spotify record for the most streams in a single day, 9.6 million to be exact. Indeed, Spotify records have come crashing down at a rapid clip in recent memory. In February, for instance, Drake's latest album, titled If You're Reading This It's Too Late, amassed 17.3 million streams over the course of the month, setting a new monthly Spotify record in the process.

Why Thyroid Conditions Are So Bad

It seems like just about everyone knows someone with a thyroid condition. Their symptoms can sometimes be wide ranging. Much like the IRS and their tax code, it can leave you a little confused about what exactly it does and why it can cause so many problems.
