These 22 Books Are So Absurdly Ridiculous… And Completely Real. #15 Sounds Horribly Wrong.
Basically anyone can write a book if they put their mind to it and find a publisher who will produce it (which is easier than you think). However, even though most people could write a book, that doesn’t mean they should.
The books below are a perfect example of authors who probably should’ve done something else with their time, instead of putting these absolutely insane books together. It’s hard to believe anyone would seriously buy these.
(H/T BuzzFeed)
I shouldn’t be too quick to judge, though. Horse yoga could be extremely relaxing and I don’t even know it. These books are the weirdest, show them to others by sharing this story.
Don’t Watch This Without A Tissue Nearby. From The 1:30 Mark, It’ll Take You For An Emotional Ride.
Helping those who can’t help themselves is an incredible calling. Annie Hart is well known dog lover and the executive director of The Bill Foundation. She makes it her life goal to rescue animals that suffer abuse or neglect and to find homes for the pitiful animals that are left to die on the streets. Her YouTube channel is full of heartwarming animal rescues, but none so touching as the incredible rescue she just pulled off in December of last year.
The dog she found was in such bad shape, it was clear he had been on the streets a long time. She named him Gideon… then saved his life.
(Video at the bottom)
Then, something amazing happened. Watch the video to see how all of this unfolded.
Not only did Gideon’s body began to heal, but his spirit did as well. Instead of quaking in fear when he saw humans, he began to realize they could be a source of love and comfort. The love and hope within him blossomed, shining through.
The Animal Wellness Foundation generously paid for Gideon’s medical care, which was more than $4,000. Please support them and help them rescue the pups they come across like Gideon, by visiting their Donation page and giving what you can.
At the very least, please help spread the word about these wonderful miracle workers by sharing this amazing video. Annie saved Gideon’s life. Help save the lives of other dogs and click Share below!

A Man Decided To Follow His Little Boy On His Daily Walk. What He Saw Shattered My Heart.
Every day for two solid weeks, this man’s son would take a walk. They live in the rural Philippines, and since the father was curious as to what he was doing, one day he decided to tag along. What he found was both heartwarming and heartbreaking.
Mange is a skin disease caused by parasitic mites. It seems that these puppies have sarcoptic mange, also known as canine scabies. It’s highly contagious, so the family is being very careful to not infect their own animals after feeding the strays. Thankfully, it’s treatable.
The kind father and son duo are modern-day heroes. You can visit the little boy’s Web site (and donate!) here: Happy Animals Club.

See This Hidden Trap Door In The Ground? Just Wait Til You See What’s Down There… WHOA.
If you fear a nuclear war (or even just the future), then you probably think of a few backup plans for emergencies to protect yourself and your loved ones. You may not have the money to build an all-out zombie fortress, but if you have less than $40k on hand, you’re in luck.
The bunkers from Atlas Survival Shelters aren’t exactly cheap, but if you’re worried about the human race imploding, they will put your mind at ease. A little.
If you care about your loved ones, share these fallout shelters with them. You’ll never know when they can come in handy.
Fail: Wendy’s Frosty-style Skinny Shake
Name: Lisa
Original Inspiration: http://pinterest.com/pin/115475177918477006/
What I Did: I so love Wendy’s. I mean – I. LOOOOOVE. IT. Count me in for a frosty any day – except when I’m trying to watch what I eat for the dreaded summer bikini months. So I was super stoked when I found the most fantastic Pin, “Skinny Shake that tastes like Wendy’s Frosty!!” WHAT. Shut up. I had to try this.
Sidebar- I’ve never been a fan of making anything with ice cubes in the blender…. is it just me or does it never turn out right? Regardless of my hesitation, I had to give this a shot.
The comments section of the pin said, 3/4 c. almond milk, 15 ice cubes, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1 or 2 Tb unsweetened cocoa powder (this is where I should have been suspicious…. unsweetened… ugh) and 1/3 of a banana. Popped in in the magic bullet for 3-4 minutes, until it looked smooth, poured it out and FAIL. Total disasterpants mess. And I don’t even want to begin to talk about how it tasted – HORRIBLE.
What I did after the fail was actually click on the pin and read homegirls’s blog, which lo and behold, included some other key ingredients. (Vanilla protein powder, xanthan gum, and guar gum to be exact.) Moral of the story: NEVER just trust the comments, go to the site/blog itself and check to make sure the comments are actually right.
My Result:
Next Time I Will: Next time I’m going to go straight to the link associated with the pin. I don’t know if vanilla protein powder, xanthan gum, and guar gum can save this (they probably can,) but next time, I’m just going to Wendy’s. )
